In Butoh every 'body' is free to explore their dance through the body they have today.
Butoh is a contemporary art form originating in Japan.
With no steps or set form, the body is free to respond to internal/external impulse or imagery rather than consciously being moved. This workshop will focus on unveiling our individual natural expressiveness through a range of exercises, exploring the balance of body, mind & emotion.
Marina Sossi trained with Tadashi Endo and Marie-Gabrielle Rotie. She has performed her solo works internationally & facilitated workshops for a wide range of performers and artists.
