Stella Brooks-Penrose
Stella studied Fashion at the Royal College of Art London. On graduating, she worked in New York as a fashion artist and designer before returning to England and lecturing at St Martins and the London College of Fashion.
Painting has always been her first love. Her paintings reveal a love of textiles, colour and pattern that reflects her fashion background.
She is best described as a colourist and although she works mainly in oils, often
incorporates beads, braids, sequins and gold into her rich decorative paintings.
