Like fine art, family portraits should endure: precious moments captured on film today, can become an hierloom tomorrow. I do not produce high fashion shots that quickly date, I take images that reflect the individuality of those I photograph; my aim is to create a portrait that is contemporary, yet timeless.

I shoot in black & white, so that I can hand print the photographs myself. This personal approach enables me to produce a finer quality print, and something that is unique to you.

My studio in Bath is ideal for large group shots, however I can bring my portable studio to photograph you & your family in the relaxed atmosphere of your home. Alternatively the photo session can take place on location.
