Jo & Amy Milford

Sisters Jo & Amy Milford run Funky Art House - a mobile company offering a variety of inspirational art and craft workshops at various locations in the South West. Workshops include;- adult and child arty parties, ongoing adult craft courses, craft areas at community and corporate events and after school craft clubs.

Funky Art House believes art should be fun, without pressure and accessible to everyone whatever their ability. Their vision is to set up and run a friendly and inviting space in which to explore creativity, 'try something new' and make new friends along the way. Courses often have an emphasis on up-cycling - turning old & unused materials into new and unique pieces of art. 

Jo is a qualified secondary Art Teacher and has taught in various schools in the Bath area as well as private art tutoring. She has a degree in 3D design - Glass with ceramics & sculpture and holds an adult teaching qualification (City & Guilds).  She is a practicing glass artist and has exhibited her work in the U.K and internationally.

Amy has worked in various primary schools in teaching assistant roles and run artistic activities in educational departments of museums. Amy's specialism is in textiles.They are both practicing artists and together have many years of experience running art and craft activities with children and adults.
