How to book/contacting the tutors

All enquiries and bookings must be done through the tutors. To book a place or enquire about availability and course details please contact the tutors directly, all contact details are below. A deposit payable to the tutor is required to secure a place and the balance is due at the first class.  Many of our courses continue throughout the year.

An internationally established book artists and traditionally trained bookbinder.  He is the Book Art Coordinator and lecturer at Hereford College of Arts and has taught book arts in UK universities since 1995.

Felicity Bowers, MA

An artist, illustrator and printmaker. She has taught life drawing and illustration at schools and universities since 1993 and gained an MA at UWE specialising in fine art printmaking
in 2006.

Lucinda Burgess, BA(Hons) Fine Art Painting; Postgraduate Art Teacher's Diploma, Goldsmiths

Lucinda has taught painting and drawing in schools and colleges for many years
and exhibits her work in galleries in London and Bath.

Michael Chaitow, BA (Hons)

A painter whose work has a symbolist quality through themes developed from nature and natural forms. He has taught
at Chelsea School of Art and lectured at the Royal Academy and Royal College schools.

Saied Dai, MA RA, RP

A practising artist who has taught at a number of art schools, notably the Royal Academy of Art and the Prince of Wales School of Architecture, London. He is an elected member of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters.

Charlotte Edge, BA (Hons)

Charlotte studied at Newport College of Art,
and works as a draughtsman and illustrator. She has taught life classes at BAS for a number of years.

Mary-Jane Evans, BA (Hons)

A ceramicist working mostly in porcelain.After studying at University College for the Creative Arts, Farnham, she moved to Bath
to take up a residency. She now teaches and exhibits across the UK.

Sue Larner, MA RCA, NDVFP

An artist with an MA in sculpture from
the Royal College of Art, Sue has exhibited
in galleries in London and Bath. She has
also taught at Bath College.

Trevor Lillistone

A ceramic artist with over 20 years experience making wheel thrown work in
a contemporary style ranging from small batch domestic ware through to individual decorative pieces.

Sophie Lowe

Sophie studied 3D design in metals at Middlesex University. She has exhibited across the UK and lectured in art and design degree and foundation courses. Sophie works with wire, mixed media and photographic transfer and also produces conceptual jewellery.

Jo Milford

A qualified secondary Art Teacher, Jo  has taught in schools in the Bath area as well as private art tutoring. She has a degree in 3D design - Glass with Ceramics & Sculpture and holds an adult teaching qualification (City & Guilds). She is a practicing glass artist and
has exhibited her work in the U.K and internationally.
