Carrie Hill

After a foundation course at Bath Academy of Art, and then studying graphic design at Leicester Polytechnic, I worked as a book designer at Paul Hamlyn Publishers and then as a package designer for Max Factor.

I taught design and textiles in adult education, and then became a college lecturer at Reigate and Epsom Art Colleges. After a recent move to Bath from Cornwall, I have been concentrating on freelance illustration, painting and printmaking.

My background in textiles has given me a love for colour and pattern, which has always been a great influence on my work.
